Wildlife crossing studies and design projects center on a uniform, data-driven process to analyze data, query hot spots, prioritize locations, and feasibly reduce crash potential. Building off preliminary hotspot analysis, GBA staff works to refine the methodology for data analytics, provide a higher level of precision for site selection, and propose a site selection ranking system that accounts for fluctuations in conflict zones.
