GBA Expands Texas Footprint with Regional Office in Austin
GBA has expanded its Texas footprint, adding a new regional office in Austin at 9601 Amberglen Boulevard. The combination of the three GBA offices, Austin, Leander and Round Rock, makes Central Texas the largest regional footprint for GBA outside of the Lenexa, Kansas headquarters. With the addition of Austin, GBA now has 15 offices serving a variety of clients coast-to-coast.
The company is no stranger to the Lone Star state. GBA has been building a presence in the Austin area since 2017 and is ranked #37 on the 2023 Austin Business Journal’s Largest Engineering Firms List. Following acquisitions of 20 and 40-year-old Central Texas firms and through organic growth, more than 30 of our specialists and engineers office in Texas today. GBA staff is poised to continue to grow to meet the needs of the dynamic Texas markets.
“Central Texas is expected to continue experiencing sustained and consistent economic growth in excess of the rest of the country,” said Jim Jarrett, GBA President. “With the increasing need for infrastructure improvements to address that sustained growth, GBA wanted to be part of the solution.”
Beyond the expected economic growth, the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law and federal resilience programs will provide additional resources and opportunities for many new projects in the Texas infrastructure market. GBA is well positioned to provide exceptional professional engineering and field services in the markets of Transportation, Water Environment, Civil/Site Development, Industrial, Life Sciences, Mission Critical, Municipal and Survey to meet the growing needs of the region.
