Josh’s engineering experience includes preliminary and final design on multiple bridge types and vertical structures, hydrologic and structural evaluation and load rating of bridges. Josh has been an integral player in unique designs and alternate bid projects. He was the primary designer for a bridge redeck in which the glass fiber reinforced polymer (GFRP) rebar was used as the primary reinforcement. He is the lead engineer on the Paragon Star bridges, which incorporate significant architectural features that require unconventional structural design. Additionally, he was the primary designer of the Clear Creek Parkway and K-7 Johnson Drive bridges with significant architectural features. Josh has used 3D finite element analysis to design vertical structural projects.
