Meet Our Dynamic Team

Joe is a detail-orientated, client-centric leader focused on proactive communication. He prides himself on his ability to lead a team with the goal of keeping communities moving forward by ensuring permitted building construction projects are properly evaluated for code compliance, regardless of client staff constraints. Joe leads the Building Code Services group at GBA.

Joe has a unique background leading up to his current role. A mechanical engineer by training, his first position out of college landed him as a commercial real estate inspector. From there, he quickly realized he had a passion for building safety. That passion led him to a municipality, completing building inspections and plan reviews. In February 2019, Joe joined GBA as a Fire Protection Engineer. As the organization grew, Building Code Service opportunities continued to present themselves and in 2022, Joe took over as lead for the Building Code Services group. Joe is committed to continuing to grow his team and expand into new markets ensuring local economies are not impacted or slowed due to plan review delays or inspection staffing challenges.
