GBA's Civil Site History

55 Years of Remarkable

In 1969, George Butler founded GBA, a consulting engineering firm specializing in site development and civil engineering.

Since then, the firm has expanded in people, locations and service offerings, yet one thing has remained constant: our commitment to delivering remarkable solutions to our most valued clients.

Over the years, our site development and survey teams have focused on projects that have reshaped the Kansas City landscape and surrounding areas. These projects not only brought significant physical and technological transformations but also cultivated strong relationships with industry leaders rooted in collaboration, innovation and trust. These connections have become lasting partnerships, reflecting our early dedication to excellence.
