Clarence Munsch & Gary Beck Elected
to GBA Board of Directors
GBA announced that Clarence Munsch, PE, and Gary Beck, PE, have been elected to the company’s board of directors. They join the current board that includes Michael L. Smith, PE, president and chairman of the board; Daniel L. Abitz, PE, senior vice president; Timothy J. Ross, PE, senior vice president; Kim N. Pearse, PE, senior associate; and Shaun Kotwitz, chief financial officer.
As a firm principal and leader of the highways/streets group, Munsch has over 30 years of design and management experience on numerous types of highway and street projects. Currently, Munsch is involved as a principal with the Johnson County Gateway project. He has a Bachelor of Science from Kansas State University. Munsch is active in numerous civic and professional organizations in the Kansas City area including the Kansas Society of Professional Engineers and American Public Works Association.
As a firm principal and leader of GBA’s Infrastructure Services Group under the Water Environment Group, Beck brings 30 years of design and management experience for sanitary system improvement and rehabilitation projects. Beck was named a principal at GBA in 2013. He holds a Master of Civil Engineering from the University of Missouri, Columbia and received his Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from Missouri Science & Technology University, formerly University of Missouri, Rolla. Beck is active in the Water Environment Federation and was inducted in the Golden Manhole Society for his contributions to the collections system industry.
